Oregon Health Authority

Moving Forward with Health Reform
The Office for Oregon Health Policy and Research continues to support the work of the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and Oregon Health Policy Board to further health reform planning efforts and implementation in Oregon.

The 2011 Oregon Legislature and Governor Kitzhaber passed significant additional health reform legislation with House Bill 3650 directing the OHA to establish a statewide system of Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs), Senate Bill 99 establishing the Oregon Health Insurance Exchange, and House Bill 2100 which further streamlines pharmacy services and establishes a Health Evidence Review Commission to build on the work of the Health Resources and Health Services Commissions.
OHPR, Policy Board committees & groups
The Oregon Health Authority's Oregon Health Policy Board (OHPB) has established several committees to accomplish state and federal health reform goals, in addition to having other long-standing committees inform its work.
