NIATx - The Network for the Improvement of Addiction Treatment: Changing Systems; Changing Lives Initiative
The goal of the NIATx Initiative is to expand the number of addiction treatment providers in Oregon who will employ a simple process improving model that will make more efficient use of capacity, and improve access and retention. NIATx also emphasizes the value of learning how to track and communicate improvements that have been made.

- BestCare Treatment Services
 As a result of changes implemented, BestCare Treatment Services was able to increase the transition rate from residential to outpatient treatment from less than 50 percent to 70 percent.

 After adding orientation groups, LifeWorks Northwest in Hillsboro had a significant reduction in no-shows and an increase in client engagement.

 As a result of changes implemented, ADAPT in Roseburg reduced the waiting time between CWP referrals and the first treatment session from 18 days to two days.
- Emergence (Albany)
 As a result of changes implemented, Emergence in Albany decreased no-shows for assessment appointments from 15 percent to 13 percent.
