DMAP publishes these notices in the Secretary of State's Oregon Bulletin, or major Oregon newspapers, to notify the public about proposed changes to DMAP programs or Oregon's Medicaid State Plan that happen outside DMAP's administrative rules process.

• Request for comment: Proposal to use unused CHIP funds within the 10 percent federal administrative expenditures cap, to allow payments to the Oregon Poison Center (OPC) through an Intergovernmental Transfer (IGT) between OHSU and Oregon Health Authority (Oregon Bulletin)
• Newspaper notice: Department of Human Services' notification to providers who serve Medicaid-eligible clients regarding the option to contract with the Oregon Health Authority 

Any time we want to change what the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) covers or whom OHP serves, DMAP must ask the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to approve the change. Recent requests are listed below along with comments we have received from stakeholders.

• Summer 2011 - Moving the funding line on Oregon's Prioritized List of Health Services  from line 512 to line 498, deleting funding for 13 lines
• Summer 2011 - Increasing OHP Standard hospital benefits  to the same level as OHP Plus hospital benefits
