Real Estate Assessment Center
Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) centralized the assessment of all HUD housing into a single, state-of-the-art organization. With the assistance of partners representing public housing agencies and multifamily owners, resident groups, lenders and appraisers, REAC designed totally new systems based on a paperless, e-business model.

Section 8 Renewal Guide Book
This link will take you to the guide book for renewal of Section 8 contracts, rent adjustments, and owner opt-outs. Cover pages and worksheets for contract renewals, rent adjustments, and owner opt-outs are also available. You can also find the Operating Cost Adjustment Factor (OCAF) which will go into effect for all contract renewals or rent adjustments with an effective date on or after February 11, 2004. Annual Adjustment Factor (AAF) figures can be accessed in the CFR 24 publication.
 

Service Coordinator Program
The Service Coordinator program provides funding for the employment of service coordinators in insured and assisted housing developments that are designed for the elderly and persons with disabilities. A service coordinator is a social service staff person hired or contracted by the development´s owner or management company. The coordinator is responsible for assuring that elderly residents, especially those who are frail or at risk, and those non-elderly residents with disabilities are linked to the specific supportive services they need to continue living independently in that development.
 
The online Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) gives you access to a database of all federal programs available to state and local governments (including the District of Columbia), federally recognized Indian tribal , Territories (and possessions) of the United States, domestic public, quasi-public, and private profit and nonprofit organizations and institutions, specialized groups, and individuals.

TRACS
Tenant Rental Assistance Certification System (TRACS) is a HUD computer system developed to help improve financial controls over assisted housing programs by automating manual procedures and incorporating automated controls.

Webcasts
Webcasting is live audio and video broadcasts of training and public events through HUD´s Web site. HUD also maintains an Audio and Video Library so you can go view or listen to the broadcasts they produce.
