Multifamily Loans / Predevelopment Loan Program
The Predevelopment Loan Program provides below market financing and flexible terms for site acquisition and predevelopment costs. The minimum loan is $40,000; the maximum loan is $1,500,000. For loans from $40,000 to $500,000, the maximum term is two years. Loans over $500,000 have a maximum term of six months. There is a $250 application charge payable when the application is submitted and a one percent loan processing charge payable at the time of loan closing. Eligible predevelopment costs may include architectural design, site acquisition, legal fees, appraisal reports, soil or environmental reports, and consultant fees.
The Habitat Predevelopment Loan Program is designed for access by Habitat for Humanity organizations throughout the state for predevelopment activities associated with the development of their homes. The maximum loan is $40,000 with a maximum term of two years. There is a $100 application charge due when the application is submitted and a two percent processing charge payable at loan closing.
