    Athletic Trainer
    Athletic trainers prevent, recognize, and evaluate athletic injuries and provide immediate care, rehabilitation and reconditioning services to athletes. Oregon law requires athletic trainers to be registered and meet state-established professional standards.

    The Oregon Health Licensing Agency (OHLA) oversees regulation of athletic training and other health and related professions. To access OHLA's home page, go to Department at the top of the left navigation menu and click on Oregon Health Licensing Agency.

The Oregon Health Licensing Agency filed temporary administrative rules with the Secretary of State Office on March 1, 2012 to delineate which programs under OHLA have more complexity and warrant a more specific response from the respondent when requesting a hearing.
