| Jaimee Bloom |
|
Jaimee Bloom has more than 25 years of experience as an electrologist, including the past 20 years as owner and operator of an electrology practice in Portland.
Prior to practicing electrology, Ms. Bloom served as a physical, health, sex and special education teacher in the New York City and Long Island public school systems after earning a Bachelor's of Science in Physical and Health Education from Long Island University and a Master's of Science in Special Education from C.W. Post College in New York.
She served as President of the Oregon Association of Licensed Electrologists from 2002-07 and as President of the Oregon Association of Registered Electrologists from 1990-94. Ms. Bloom was also a licensed electrology instructor from 1991-2005 and was involved in the development of licensing examinations for both electrology practitioners and instructors.
"I feel that my knowledge and experience can help the public and practitioners," says Ms. Bloom. "I'm interested in furthering the work of the advisory council to continue to accomplish meaningful regulation."
