Board of Licensed Dietitians Joins Oregon Health Licensing Agency
Board of Licensed Dietitians
With the passage of Senate Bill 939 in 2011, the Board of Licensed Dietitians became the 11th volunteer citizen board or council to join the Oregon Health Licensing Agency (OHLA). Previously named the Board of Examiners of Licensed Dietitians, the Oregon State Legislature created the board in 1989 and it has operated as a stand-alone board until passage of SB 939. Since joining OHLA, the board has began reviewing and revising its licensing and regulatory requirements.
