Board Member Biography
Kimberly Fuson
As an advocate for elders and those who serve them, Kimberly Fuson’s life work focuses on facilitating opportunities in long-term care and community based services to create more meaningful life experiences and work relationships.
Ms. Fuson has served on numerous professional committees, including the Oregon Department of Human Services Quality of Care Steering Committee, CARF/CCAC International Advisory Committee for Person-Centered Care Standards and the Oregon Patient Safety Commission Advisory Committee.  Ms. Fuson is also a recipient of the North American Association of Jewish Aging Services Dr. Herbert Shore Young Executive Award.
Beginning in 1990, Ms. Fuson’s career as a change agent has taken the guises of social worker, private case manager, guardian ad-leitum and administrator.  She has served agencies such as Marquis Companies, Extendicare and Washington and Clackamas County Circuit Courts. She currently works as the Chief Program Officer/Administrator at Cedar Sinai Park in Portland, Oregon and is pursuing a master’s degree in Social Work at Portland State University.
Ms. Fuson states: “I am honored to have been selected to participate on the Oregon Nursing Home Administrators Board and hope my service continues to empower and improve the lives of the residents and staff we serve.”
