Board Member Biography
Margaret Howe
Ms. Margaret Howe has 25 years of experience as a registered nurse and manager/administrator with experience in case management, worker's compensation, safety and injury prevention, public health, disability management, employee health and wellness programs and health insurance benefits.
 
Ms. Howe was a Certified Occupational and Environmental Health Nurse and Certified Safety Professional and was elected to serve on the local, state and national boards of the Occupational Health Nursing Association from 1990-2002.
 
She received a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science from Duke University, Durham, NC; a Master's of Arts in History from Hunter College, New York City, NY; and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Triton Community College, River Grove, IL.
 
"I have a strong interest in supporting access to quality and affordable health care through good policy, careful research, responsible administration, methods for community input and feedback and visionary leadership," says Ms. Howe.
