Ronald Gilson, MD
Ronald Gilson, MD, has more than 30 years of experience providing care to patients of nursing homes. Dr. Gilson graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in General Science from the University of Iowa in 1966 and he received a Medical Doctor degree in 1970.
 
He served as Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force at Beale AFB from 1971 through 1973, received the Geriatrics Recognition Award from the American Geriatric Society in 1998, and was certified as a Medical Director by the AMDA in 1999.
 
Dr. Gilson operates a private practice in Eugene as a board certified family practitioner with added qualifications in geriatrics.  He is currently a member on the Medicare Northwest Region Carrier Advisory Committee, the Medical Director of three nursing homes and a Geriatrician with PeaceHealth Medical Group in Eugene.
 
 "I would like to see an improvement in medical care to nursing home residents and believe that nursing home administrators provide the overall direction for these efforts," says Dr. Gilson. "I encourage all administrators to achieve the best possible patient outcomes."
