Proposed and Recently Adopted Rules

Permanent Administrative Rules

On June 6, 2014, the Health Licensing Office (HLO) received a Petition to Amend Administrative Rule (petition) regarding OAR 331-710-0050 from Legacy Health requesting the Respiratory Therapist and Polysomnographic Technologist Licensing Board (Board) expand application requirements for individuals from states where there is no licensing for polysomnography.

In accordance with ORS 183.390, HLO and the Board invited public comment in regards to the rule petition from July 2 through July 31, 2014. At the August 1, 2014 meeting the Board voted to initiate the rulemaking process. Proposed rules were filed and published in the September 2014 Oregon Bulletin. The public comment period was open from September 1 through September 29, 2014 including an administrative rule hearing on September 29.

On October 17, 2014 the Board met and considered written public comment received and the hearing officer report. The Board voted and declined making the proposed rule permanent.
