Health Licensing Office (HLO)

The Health Licensing Office (HLO) is a state consumer and public protection agency overseeing regulation of multiple health and related professions. The 70th Oregon Legislative Assembly established HLO in 1999.

Unique in structure compared to other state professional licensing and regulatory bodies, HLO incorporates a central agency model and director rather than a single board of directors from one profession.
