Dr. Clifford W. Deveney, MD

CLIFFORD W. DEVENEY, MD, Portland
CLIFFORD W. DEVENEY, MD, Portland– Dr. Deveney also serves as chair of the Board’s Legislative Advisory Committee. He is chief of OHSU’s Division of General Surgery, and has been on the OHSU faculty since 1987. He also serves on the staffs of Tuality Community Hospital, Hillsboro, and the Portland Veterans Administration (VA) Medical Center.
Dr. Deveney was chief of surgical service at the Portland and Philadelphia VA medical facilities, and a staff member and associate at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. He served two years in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, rising to the rank of major.
Dr. Deveney has also practiced and taught at the University of California Medical School, San Francisco, and the University of Pennsylvania Medical School, Philadelphia.
