APPLICANTS: Please wait to contact the Call Center until after you have received your initial letter notifying you we have begun processing your application.  This letter will tell you your Applicant Number.  If you call prior to receipt of this initial letter, you will be told that staff have no information to share with you regarding your status.  In all correspondence with the Call Center, please include your Applicant Number, Date of Birth, and ONLY the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number to ensure confidentiality.

For detailed information concerning the status of your application we now have the Online Status Report.  Please note that you must have your Applicant Number, Date of Birth, and password to access this information.

The hours of operation for the License Services Department are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST, Monday through Friday.  You may leave an e-mail message for staff 24 hours a day.  We encourage your active participation in the licensure process.  Please note, all applicants are treated equally and fairly; one application is not accelerated at the expense of another.  Your application will not be expedited if you have made a premature commitment to start practice on a particular date.  The Licensing Department is able to return only one e-mail message or return one phone call per applicant per day.
