National Guard Appreciation Day Salmon BBQ - 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 27, 2003
Salem, Ore. - The Oregon Military Department will observe National Guard Appreciation Day to honor the 71st Oregon Legislature from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2003 on the North steps of the State Capitol Building. There will also be military vehicles, informational displays and equipment. The Governor’s Office, the Oregon State Legislature and staff, the Supreme Court, Treasurer’s Office and Secretary of State Office are invited. Members of the State National Guard Public Affairs office will be on hand to answering questions fielded by the media or interested individuals.
