Sgt. Justin L. Eyerly Memorial set for June 13, 2004
Salem, Ore. - A Public Memorial Service will be held for Sgt. Justin L. Eyerly at 11:00 a.m. at the Rose Garden Memorial Coliseum on Sunday, June 13, 2004. The ceremony will be held in the courtyard near the new flag poles. A reception to be hosted by the Portland Trailblazers will immediately follow at the WWII Memorial. A private family internment will be held at a later time.
Governor Ted Kulongoski, Congresswoman Darlene Hooley and Brig. Gen. Raymond C. Byrne. Jr. will be attending as well as family and friends from the community and National Guard family.
Those wishing to send flowers to the Eyerly family can contact Haley’s Flowers at 350-834-3512. Contributions can also be sent in memory of Sgt. Eyerly to the Brigittine Monastery, 23300 Walker Lane, Amity, Ore. 97101. Cards can be sent to the Eyerly family at Oregon National Guard Headquarters, PO Box 14350, Salem, Oregon 97309.
