Media Alert: Inquiries regarding airplane crash in New York are being referred to NORAD
The North American Air Defense Command requested that the Oregon National Guard issue the following statement:

NORAD/ NORTHCOM has flights over multiple U.S. cities right now. While every indication is that this is an accident, NORAD/ NORTHCOM sees this as a prudent measure at this time.
