1-82 Reconaissace Squadron Commander invites local media to training
 
Lt. Col. Prendergast, Commander of 1-82 Reconnaissance Squadron, Oregon Army National Guard, headquartered in Bend, Ore. will open his doors to local media this weekend. As the Oregonian newspaper posted a story on an upcoming potential mobilization for the 41st IBCT, which includes 1-82 Recon Squadron, LTC Prendergast will be available to respond to media inquiries on Sunday, Dec. 2 at the Bend Armory located at 875 SW Simpson Ave in Bend, Ore.
 
The 1-82 Recon Squadron has units in Burns, Lebanon, Woodburn and Klamath Falls. The Squadron has a strength of approximately 400 soldiers. Interested media should contact the Public Affairs Office to schedule time at the Armory.
