National Guard Officer Candidate School Pinning Ceremony to be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008
Seven Soldiers from the Oregon Army National Guard will be pinned at an official ceremony on March 29, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Werner University Center, Western Oregon University, 345 N. Monmouth Avenue, Monmouth, Ore.
The following soldiers recently completed the Winter Accelerated Officer Candidate Fast Track Program and will be pinned: Taylor Smarr of Clark, Washington; Andrew Carlstrom of Coos Bay, Ore.; David Rose of Jackson, Ore.; David Sills of Westport, Ore.; Jacob Cooper of Lake Oswego, Ore.; Shane Maher of Portland, Ore.; and Quentin Graham of Hermiston, Ore.
Family, friends and members of the media are encouraged to attend to welcme in a new groups of officers to the Oregon National Guard. Civilian Dress is semi-formal and military attire is ACU.
