Oregon National Guard continues California fire assistance
 
The Oregon National Guard will continue to provide support to aid with firefighting efforts in California as flight crews change over today.

A fresh flight crew will take over a CH-47 Chinook flight operations in Chico, Calif. before noon.
"We are proud to assist our sister-state in this fight," said Maj. Mark Ulvin, Salem Army Aviation Support Facility Commander.

The Oregon Guard has been assisting in California since June, 25.
