Oregon Army National Guard Blackhawk helicopter has left Salem en route to Hogs Back on Mt. Hood
One UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter from the Oregon Army National Guard has departed Salem, Ore. en route to Hogs Back on Mt. Hood to effect the extraction of one injured climber on Mt. Hood. When the extraction is complete the climber is expected to be transported to Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Ore. for treatment of his injuries.
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is the lead agency on this medical emergency.
