Oregon Air National Guard mobilizes units
 
Salem, Ore - As of 3:20 PDT, the Secretary of the Air Force has directed the mobilization of the following Oregon Air Guard assets: four F-15s and 100 personnel from the 173rd Fighter Wing (Kingsley Field, Klamath Falls); six F-15s and 163 personnel from the 142nd Fighter Wing (Portland); and 127 personnel from the 116th Air Control Squadron (Camp Rilea, Warrenton). 

These personnel, planes and equipment will serve under Operation Noble Eagle. They will be ordered to active duty on or about Sept. 19, 2001, for a period of not more than 24 consecutive months in support of the North American Defense Command (NORAD)
