Military Museum Resumes Limited Operations
Clackamas, Ore. Beginning on May 25, 2002, the Oregon Military Museum changed its hours of operation for visitors and tour groups. The hours of operation are Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and also by appointment. The museum is located on Camp Withycombe in Clackamas, just two blocks north of Hwy 213 To contact the museum, call 503-557-5359.

The museum has a vast collection of military artifacts form all branches of service dating from the Oregon Territory through Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Schools can arrange for guest speakers to visit their classrooms or schedule appointments to visit the museum to see the entire collection.
The Oregon Museum is a non-profit organization chartered to provide an official repository and exhibit of military equipment, weapons, documents and artifacts relating to the history of Oregon.
The museum goal is to provide displays of military historic artifacts in local armories. This will allow soldiers, airmen and citizens the opportunity to see what the museum has to offer and to increase interest in Oregon's military history.
