641st Medical Battalion, (Evac) Mobilization Ceremony tomorrow
 
Salem, Ore. The mobilization ceremony for the 641st Medical Battalion, (Evacuation) will be held on Friday, April 18, 2003 at the Army Aviation Support Facility, Hangar #1, located at 1921 Turner Road S.E., Salem, Oregon. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.
 
Governor Ted Kulongoski, Maj. Gen. Alexander H. Burgin, The Adjutant General and Brig. Gen. Dennis Merrill, Commander of the 82nd Brigade are scheduled to preside over the ceremonies. The Battalion Commander, Lt. Col. David Greenwood and 36 soldiers will then prepare to travel to Ft. Bragg, North Carolina in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Their initial mobilization period is 365 days.
