Oregon Association of Nurseries donates Christmas trees to Oregon NG soldiers and their families
 
What began as a gesture of support to the soldiers at Ft. Hood, Texas now has grown to show support also to the men and women of the Oregon National Guard. The Oregon Association of Nurseries, Christmas Tree Chapter will deliver 100 Christmas trees to the Maison Armory located at 6700 SW Oak Street in Tigard today at noon.
 
Media is invited to be their for the arrival of the trees and the watch eager families come forward to take them home
 
 These trees then will be provided to the soldiers and families. Those who are able are asked for a donation and those who cannot afford this will be provided a tree at no cost. All monies raised will be given to the 41st Provisional Battalion, Family Program Fund as used to aid guardsmen and their families during times of financial stress.
