Cajun Fiesta comes to Hillsboro
The public is invited to a fiesta of Mexican & Cajun food in Hillsboro all day Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th at the corner of Baseline and 10th Street. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Proceeds go to support Leadership Oregon, a values-based high school adventure group sponsored by the service organizations of Washington County.
Come and see a display of Hispanic national service including an exhibit of Hispanic Medal of Honor winners and a ceremony to commemorate the AZTEC fighter squadron of World War II.
Several service organizations will have hands-on, climb-in, and push-the-button displays of lifesaving, military, and police equipment.
Come climb the 24-foot rock wall if you are ready for the challenge!
The highlights of the food area are Cajun BBQ Ribs, Carnitas Tacos, Blue Ridge BBQ Chicken and a variety of Mexican & Cajun side dishes.
The Hillsboro Police Department will be giving tours of its new Computer Education Walk-in Center.
Food deliveries are available for orders of (5) or more main courses.
