Military Police Company receives mobilization orders
 
Salem, Ore. -The 1186th Military Police Company of the Oregon Army National Guard received mobilization orders today in support of the Global War on Terrorism, Operations Noble Eagle and Enduring Freedom.
 
The mission of the 1186th is: TO PROVIDE GUARDS FOR PRISONERS OF WAR AND CIVILIAN INTERNEES (EPW/CI), OR PROVIDE GUARDS FOR U.S. MILITARY PRISONERS, INSTALLATIONS, AND FACILITIES.
 
Approximately 46 members of this company based in Salem, Ore., and Milton-Freewater will be mobilize on May 25th and report to their Mobilization Station at Ft. Lewis, Washington on the 28th of May. They will remain at Ft. Lewis for not more than 25 days while they complete their mobilization processing and then move to their duty station.
