Army Guard to launch Blackhawk for rescue near Detroit
At the request of Oregon Emergency Management and Marion County Sheriff's office, the Oregon Army National Guard will launch one UH-60 Blackhawk to French Creek Bridge near Detroit, Ore. The Blackhawk should be in the air by approximately 4:45 p.m. with travel time to the location to be approximately 20 minutes.
A 60 years old female is reported to have broken her ankle will need to be taken from the area to a medical facility
Piloting the aircraft are Chief Warrant Officer 2 Wayne Steenson; and Capt. Jerry Brennen; flight medic is Sgt. 1st Class Kevin Hoggard; and crew chief is Staff Sgt. Mark Carter.
