Fox Troop, 82 Cavalry, Oregon Army NG set to arrive at Kliever Armory between 10 and 11 p.m.
The troopers from Fox Troop, 82 Cavalry, Oregon Army National Guard who recently returned to the states from their deployment into Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom will depart Ft. Lewis, WA at approximately 8 p.m. this evening and will be taken to the Kliever National Guard Armory at 10000 33rd Dr NE in Portland, Ore. Estimated arrival time is expected to be between 10:30 and 11 p.m. tonight.
Tomorrow they will have an awards ceremony and Order of the Spur Ceremony scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. followed by the formal demobilization ceremony at 12 p.m.
Governor Ted Kulongoski, Congresswoman Darlene Hooley and Major General Raymond F. Rees, The Adjutant General of the Oregon National Guard will be on hand to welcome these soldiers home from a highly successful mission in Iraq.
