Members of the McCrae family and Troyer family look for the names of their loved ones, Oregon National Guardsman 1st Lt. Erik McCrae of La Grande and U.S. Marine Corps Lance Corporal Tyler Troyer of Tangent, on the wall of the Afghan-Iraqi Freedom Memorial after the dedication and unveiling ceremony in Salem on Saturday. McCrae was killed in Iraq on June 4, 2004 and Troyer was killed in Iraq on November 19, 2005.

Taylor and Hunter Baum look for the name of their uncle, Oregon National Guardsman Staff Sgt. Tane Baum, of Pendleton, on the wall of the Afghan-Iraqi Freedom Memorial after the dedication and unveiling ceremony in Salem on Saturday. Baum was killed in Afghanistan on September 25, 2005.
