Army Guard send Blackhawk to Diamond Peak to aid in search
At the request of the Oregon Emergency Management, the Oregon Army National Guard has launched one UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter and crew to aid in a search in and around Diamond Lake in southern Oregon.
It has been reported that three men were traveling in a red pickup truck and became stuck. Unable to free the truck, they placed a call to advise that they would be hiking out. They were reported as missing at 9 p.m. last night and have yet to be heard from. This will be a difficult search operation unless they receive additional communication from these men as without a better idea of the search area, they will be searching an extremely large area.
More information will be posted as it becomes available
