I am attaching a story written about one of these soldiers and sent to me with the following statement: I am a returning soldier with the 1042nd Medical Company (Air Ambulance) and wanted to know if you would be interested in the following article that was published recently in the "Hawaii Marine" newspaper regarding our missions in Afghanistan. I currently live in Oregon with my family and I know they would be delighted to see it printed locally. Please let me know if you are interested. We are scheduled to demobilized early next week.
The combat correspondent for the article is Joe Lindsay and he would be happy to let you reprint all or part of the article.
