Oregon Army National Guard finds missing man
An Oregon Army National Guard helicopter crew found a man missing in the Banks, Ore. area since yesterday and transported him to a hospital this morning for medical care.
The ORARNG launched a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter to aid the Washington County Sheriff's office in the search for the man who was believed to have suffered a stroke.
The helicopter launched from the Army Aviation Support Facility #1 in Salem with a crew of four. After finding the man, they flew him to St. Vincent's Medical Center.
The Oregon Army National Guard supports dozens of search and rescue missions each year, proving to be a valuable resource to the state and Pacific Northwest.
