Oregon Army National Guard 1042nd on MAST Mission
The Oregon Army National Guard's 1042nd Medical Company will launch a UH-60 to rescue an individual on Mt. Adams with a possible broken ankle.
The flight mission will be launched early this afternoon. The mission was requested by Washington state authorities.
The Oregon National Guard rescues dozens of people each year while maintaining their standards for deployability. The 1042nd Medical Company recently returned from a tour in Afghanistan.
