Capt. Daniel Thornton, a science officer for the 102 Civil Support Team examines results in a mobile lab during TOPOFF 4. The 102 CST is equipped to examine and determine the makeup of almost any substance, from coffee to gasoline to dynamite.
Soldiers of the 82 Rear Operations Center, Support Detachment, set up a communications satellite dish during TOPOFF 4. During TOPOFF, the 82 ROC gave the civilian authorities easy access to assets not available through state agencies.
