Oregon National Guard collaborates with Salem Hospital on emergency response exercise

The Oregon National Guard's 102nd Civil Support Team (WMD) will conduct a training exercise with Salem Hospital at Pringle Park at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2007.

The exercise will simulate the CST's response to a suspected terrorist attack at local healthcare facilities. The Oregon National Guard hopes the event will provide valuable insight into the response capabilities of the CST to terrorist activities. The event will also test the staff members of the Salem Hospital's disaster response plans.

The media is invited to attend the event.
