Oregon National Guard Soldiers to be honored at the Cinema City Film Festival
Six current and former soldiers from the Oregon Army National Guard's 2nd Battalion, 162 Infantry will be honored at the 2nd Annual Cinema City Film Festival March 9th and 10th, 2008. These soldiers were integral in the production of the award winning documentary "This is War: Memories of Iraq", produced by Oregon's own Lucky Forward Films. A Special screening of this film will be on March 9th, set to begin at 7 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles on the Avenue of the Stars. Following the screening, the soldiers take the stage. This screening is open to the public and there is no charge involved.

The soldiers and former soldiers to be honored along with the film are Sgt. 1st Class Phillip (Vinny) Jacques, Ryan Tuttle, Kris Petersen, Luke Wilson, Ryan Howell and Rebekkah Mae Bruns.

This film follows these soldiers from the Oregon National Guards' 2nd Battalion, 162 Infantry during their year long deployment in Iraq in 2004 - 2005.
