Oregon's Military Families honored during ceremony at State Capitol
 
SALEM, ORE. -- Members of Oregon's military services, representatives from city and state agencies, and the Oregon National Guard, honored military families during a ceremony marking May 8 as Military Family Appreciation Day, at the State Capitol in Salem, Ore., on May 7. The event highlighted the contributions and sacrifices miltary families make on behalf of their military members. Participants were given copies of the proclamation signed by Governor Ted Kulongoski.
