|Oregon Air National Guard scheduled to participate in flyovers around the state
SALEM, Ore. – The Oregon Air National Guard will conduct Memorial Day flyovers for various ceremonies at locations throughout Oregon, Southwest Washington, and Northern California.

F-15 Eagle fighter jets from the 142nd Fighter Wing in Portland are scheduled to conduct flyovers at the following community locations at or around the designated times on Monday, May 31.

10:15 a.m. Celebration-Mountain View Cemetery, Oregon City, OR
10:40 a.m. HOA Clubhouse-Memorial Day -Forest Grove, Vancouver, WA
11:10 a.m. Oregon Vietnam Vets Memorial, Portland, OR
11:11 a.m. Annual Event, Beaverton, OR
11:12 a.m. Ceremony-Tualatin Pioneer Cemetery, Tualatin, OR
11:17 a.m. Greater Salem Area Vets 30th Annual Ceremony Salem, OR
11:18 a.m. Tribute to Veterans, Independence, OR
11:20 a.m. Avenue of Flags, Dallas, OR
11:26 a.m. Forest View Cemetery, Forest Grove, OR
11:30 a.m. VFW 4363, Scappoose, OR

The 173rd Fighter Wing will have their F-15 jets fly over at or around the following times and locations on May 31:
10:30 a.m. Memorial Day Celebration, Glide, OR
11:00 a.m. Memorial Day Tribute, Roseburg, OR
11:15 a.m. Memorial Day Celebration, Klamath Falls, OR
12:00 p.m. Memorial Day Celebration, Redding, CA
12:30 p.m. Memorial Day Boatnik, Grants Pass, OR
1:00 p.m. Vet Foreign Affairs Memorial, Bend, OR
All passes will be approximately 1,000 feet above ground level and about 400 mph airspeed. Flights could be cancelled or times changed due to inclement weather or operational contingencies.
The Oregon Air National Guard has been an integral part of the nation's air defense since 1941. The 142nd Fighter Wing guards the Pacific Northwest skies from northern California to the Canadian border, on 24-hour alert as part of the North American Air Defense system. The 173rd Fighter Wing is home to the premier F-15 pilot training facility in the United States.
