PHOTO RELEASE: Oregon Army National Guard's 3-116 Cavalry demobilizes in LaGrande ceremony

Philip Appleton, former commander of the Oregon Army National Guard's 3 Battalion, 116 Cavalry, presents to Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber, the Oregon State flag, which was flown in Iraq during the unit's one-year deployment to Iraq.  The unit held its demobilization ceremony at Eastern Oregon University in LaGrande, Ore., Oct. 8.  From left to right: Maj. Gen. Raymond F. Rees, Adjutant General, Oregon, Governor Kitzhaber, Appleton, and unit Command Sgt. Maj.
