This employment opportunity is with the Oregon Health Authority/Office of Private Health Partnerships (OPHP). This position is not represented by a union. Conviction of a crime will not automatically disqualify an individual from being considered for employment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifies long-range objective, short-term operational goals, and develops operation plans for the section manager regarding the Family Health Assistant Program (FHIAP).
- Develops and implements multi-level marketing and outreach strategies.
- Develops multi-media marketing campaigns to include TV and radio ads.
- Coordinates and develops advertising and training materials.
- Develops external training programs to assist in the education and marketing of Oregon Health Authority programs
- Coordinates the development of multi-media training scripts, catalogs & slide presentations.
- Designs statewide certified continuing education training
- Primary trainer for the agency to educate multiple stakeholders and community partners.
- Monitors TV and radio station reports for play time and trends.
- Monitors and evaluates Insurance Division and internal reports; makes assessments and recommends changes.
- Develops marketing brochures and training materials.
- Works directly with TV and radio station program managers to run the agency’s program ads.
- Keynote speaker on state healthcare programs for civic organizations and chamber forums.
QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, the Behavioral or Social Sciences or related degree AND two years professional level experience in Public Relations or Affairs OR; Five years experience directly related to the position under recruitment; two of the five years must have been at the professional level. - Describe your experience in developing, writing and editing high-quality communication pieces.
Preference may be given to candidates with insurance knowledge. If you have insurance knowledge, please explain in your cover letter how you gained this knowledge.
