Learn about recent changes to Oregon's health care system, and get your questions answered.
The Office of Private Health Partnerships/Oregon Health Authority is hitting the road to inform the state's insurance producers, human resource personnel, and pharmacists about changes in the ever-evolving health insurance landscape. Our team of trainers will be conducting two-hour informational sessions throughout the state in November and December. The sessions are free.
The trainings will break down Oregon's new Healthy Kids initiative, encapsulated in bills HB 2009 and HB 2116. The sessions will also cover changes to vital state programs, including the Family Health Insurance Assistance Program (FHIAP), the Oregon Medical Insurance Pool (OMIP) and the Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance (SHIBA) program. We'll also fill you in on the latest federal health care reform legislation.
Once again, the seminars are FREE and approved for two-hours law CE for insurance producers (agents) in Oregon, Washington, and for the Oregon Board of Pharmacy. The trainings are also approved for 1.75 hours for SHRM.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
