Survey will help identify needs of a range of heritage groups in the state
The Oregon Heritage Commission has launched an assessment of the status of Oregon heritage and preservation resources, including the threats they face. The assessment is the first step in developing long-range, statewide strategies for Oregon's heritage resources. In addition to compiling existing data found in diverse locations, the assessment includes online and downloadable surveys. Among those surveyed will be archaeologists, archivists, museums, cemeteries, certified local governments, and preservationists.
