PRESERVING OREGON GRANT
The State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) offers matching grants for rehabilitation work that supports the preservation of historic resources listed in the National Register of Historic Places or for significant work contributing toward identifying, preserving and/or interpreting archaeological sites. Currently, $250,000 per biennium is available, and grant funds may be awarded for amounts up to $20,000.
Letter of Intent to apply is REQUIRED.

Application will be open in January. Use the information below for planning purposes, we don't expect major changes next year.
A pre-application letter of intent submission and possible site visit is required. If you are interested in applying, submit a letter in interest by creating an application on the OPRD Grants Online Program.
Once you have submitted a letter of intent, you will be contacted to discuss the project and to perhaps schedule a site visit. You will receive email notification when you have approval to submit an application. The application will be submitted through the same online program.
