Welcome to the Historic Cemeteries Program
Eastwood IOOF Cemetery in Medford Oregon Heritage Commission Seeks Input
The Oregon Heritage Commission has launched an assessment of the status of Oregon heritage and historic cemeteries, including the threats they face. The assessment will provide a fact-based foundation for new long-range, statewide strategies for heritage.

In addition to compiling existing data found in diverse locations, the assessment includes online and downloadable surveys. Among those being surveyed are archaeologists, archivists, museums, cemeteries, certified local governments, and preservationists.

We encourage all Oregonians who have a stake in assessing Oregon's heritage to participate in this important and timely survey by clicking on the link below.
