Heritage assessment includes important surveys
Oregon heritage includes many forms, shapes and interests.
The Oregon Heritage Commission has launched an assessment of the status of Oregon heritage, including the threats it faces. The assessment will provide a fact-based foundation for new long-range, statewide strategies for heritage.

In addition to compiling existing data found in diverse locations, the assessment includes online and downloadable surveys. Among those being surveyed are archaeologists, archivists, museums, cemeteries, certified local governments, and preservationists.

All Oregonians who have a stake in Oregon's heritage are encouraged to participate in this important and timely survey by following the red link below.
