Rulemaking news and regulatory notices Permits
Marine Reserve rules take effect in June 2011
OPRD Rulemaking Actions
All agency rulemaking notices are published on the first of each month by the Secretary of State in the OREGON BULLETIN. The OPRD Commission must authorize the agency to proceed with rulemaking before rulemaking notices can be filed with the Secretary of State and rules opened for public comment. Once the public comment period has closed, the OPRD prepares the final rules text and submits to the OPRD Commission for consideration and approval of final text prior to permanent adoption.
Ocean Shores
OPRD is charged with protecting and preserving the recreation, scenic and natural resource values found on Oregon's ocean shore.
Scenic Waterways
OPRD must be notified of certain activities proposed within one-quarter mile of the bank of Oregon's designated scenic waterways. Landowners use the Notification of Intent and Timber Harvest forms to notify OPRD of proposed activities.
Water-related projects statewide
Water-related projects are those projects in wetlands and waterways.
Day-use permit agents
The day-use permit agent network consists of public and private sellers located throughout the state.
