Cottonwood Canyon-follow the creation of a new state park
Cottonwood Canyon is going to be a state park, but it isn't open yet. That is scheduled to happen in 2013. Right now, it's a stunning piece of central Oregon property on the lower John Day River, with hills, canyons and bottomlands.
