| The Board of Optometry was created in 1905 and makes rules and enforces professional standards for the practice of optometry in Oregon. The board examines applicants for licensure as optometrists; suspends, revokes or imposes probation on licensees; and limits the practice or imposes a civil penalty for violation of the statutes.
Activities are supported by fees assessed applicants and licensed optometrists. |
